I've had the absolute pleasure of photographing some incredible artists performing here on the Isle of Man, from Gary Barlow, Madness, Jessie J, Rag'n'Bone Man and many more. If you're promoting or organising a live music event, I'll give you a set of images that capture every bit of the energy and atmosphere of the night.
Stage photography is something I genuinely love. I've worked with Centre Stage Productions, Taylorian Productions, Two Feathers Productions and the Villa Marina and Gaiety Theatre over many years. I know how to read a stage, work with tricky lighting and stay out of the way, while still getting all the shots that matter.
From triathlon to ballroom dancing, I cover all kinds of sporting and community events across the island.

Answer. Almost anything to be honest - sporting events, parties, concerts, corporate functions. There isn’t much I haven’t photographed over the years, so I’m used to adapting to different environments and getting the shots that matter.
Answer. Yes, I cover events right across the island. Whether it’s Douglas, Peel, Ramsey or further afield, travel isn’t an issue. If you’ve got an event, I’ll get there.
Answer. That’s completely flexible. Some clients just need an hour or two for key moments, others want full-day coverage. I’m happy to work around your schedule and what you need captured. We'll always agree a time-frame and price before arrival.
Answer. I always aim to turn around images as quickly as possible, usually within a few days depending on the size of the event. If you need a few images quickly for social media or press, just let me know and I can prioritise those following your event.
Answer. Yes, I tend to focus on natural, candid moments as they tell the story best, but I’m always happy to organise group shots or more formal photos if that’s something you want.
Answer. Yes a £50 deposit is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due on or before the event.
Answer. Pricing depends on the type of event, how long you need coverage, and any specific requirements. I keep things straightforward, just get in touch with a few details and I’ll give you a clear, no-obligation quote.
Answer. Absolutely, depending on the event and what’s needed. While most of my work is based on the Isle of Man, I’m more than happy to travel to the UK for the right event. Have camera, will travel - just get in touch with the details and we can work something out.
Answer. Dates can fill up quickly, especially during sporting event season, so it’s always best to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

My son had a headshot shoot recently, and from the initial query right up to the communication after the shoot; Dave has been fantastic from start to finish.
Cost, location, what we needed to provide was all clearly advised beforehand.
When we arrived on the day Dave greeted us and then almost 2 hours later, after lots of laughter, creativity and fun was had, the shoot was over. My son said he would rate the experience 11/10 mainly down to how awesome Dave was.
I absolutely love the photos Dave captured of my daughter in her mini photo shoot this weekend. She walked in feeling very nervous as she doesn’t usually entertain getting her photo taken. Dave was really patient with her, giving her prompts and encouragement all the way through. Towards the end she even started to enjoy it. I couldn’t thank DKphotographiom enough for our photo memories.
Dave has covered a couple of our events now and always captures the action brilliantly! Its a skill to photograph players undetected (especially in highly tense matches!) and he always manages to create very impressive images of players, often while they're mid air and mid smash!
