I had the privilege of capturing David Gray at a packed-out Villa Marina Royal Hall during his first-ever visit to the Isle of Man, as part of his Past & Present UK Tour.

From the first song, it was clear this was going to be a special night. David took the audience through his career with genuine warmth, sharing the stories and inspiration behind his songs, and speaking about his personal connection to the Island through his late father. It added a layer to the evening that you rarely get at a large-scale concert.

A full-on show with the audience with him every step of the way, singing along to the classic hits that have sound tracked so many of our lives!

As a photographer, nights like this are what the job is about.
